About
-----------
David started working as an intern
and assistant for Rob Cohen (Director) on XXX, where he stayed for
the duration of the domestic filming. He then moved on to Dare Devil where
he worked briefly, in a similar capacity, for Kim and Lars Winther (1st AD,
1st AD second unit). As Daredevil finished David moved into production at
Original Film where he stayed for one year gaining experience and interest
in the development side of filmmaking.
----------- This interest led him to both finance and produce Knife, a short, art film that is currently being distributed by Volcom Inc (http://www.volcom.com). Concurrently with the production of Knife, David worked for Cornerstone; a New York based grass roots marketing firm. Specifically, he was involved in street campaigns and helped with pr and marketing for Cornerstone and for the adjoining magazine, Fader.
----------- Shortly after working for Fader magazine, David co-wrote/co-edited and produced a short film with business partner Joel Knoernschild entitled: Slideshow (Official selection of the New York Independent International Film Festival). Slideshow is a twenty-minute, 16-mm short film about a guy who tries to showcase his love for his girl visually, in a slideshow he puts on in a rock garden.
